Huawei unveils world's first 3.5G mobile TV datacard

Friday March 7, 2008The Chinese manufacturer showed off its new E510 HSUPA stick at the CeBIT trade fair in Hannover, Germany last week.

The device will have mobile TV and mobile broadband functionality and able to turn PCs and laptops into televisions.The E510 will be available before June 5. Details of pricing and networks will be announced shortly. In 2007, Huawei sold more than 40 million terminal products including handsets, data cards, fixed wireless terminals and gateways including eight million mobile broadband devices to Europe, the US and Japan.
